MICROSOFT OFFICE APPLICATIONS SELF STUDY TRAINING

For people who had no prior experience with Microsoft Office Applications, we suggest to start with Word. We have tutors that are certified in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Access, that can guide you through the applications.

Word, the easiest and the most popular software, will requires about 2 hours tutored overview, self study 1 hour/day for 10 days and then, tutored practice test about 4 hours and timed test w/review about 2 hours.

Excel, the most used business software, will require about 4 hours tutored overview, self study 1 hour/day for 20 days and then, tutored practice test about 4 hours and timed test w/review about 4 hours.

* Unless you wish to achieve Microsoft Certified Master status, Outlook and Powerpoint would only be optional. (about the same preparation required for Word)

* Access, the powerful database program, will require about 6 hours tutored overview, self study 1 hour/day for 30 days and then, tutored practice test about 6 hours and timed test w/review about 6 hours.

We will also consider helping people needing the "knowledge". We can provide free training to the ones who wish to volunteer their time to tutor other people in need, once they get their certificates (on weekend for a period of 3 months minimum). They can donate a "exam voucher" for every 6 hours of tutoring. (each voucher costing $95) The tutoring will be at the group home or at our office in Ladera Ranch, CA.





NEED BASE TRAINING

For people with special needs, a custom training program will be designed for them. We will try to "match" our volunteers with the request. Submit a brief request and we will see what we can do for you.
